With the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 launch date just around the corner, Wednesday, August 7th, to be exact; there is not a lot of big surprises left to reveal with the slew of online leaks. Ishan Agarwal, a leaker on Twitter shared many details about the series of handsets that the Galaxy Note 10 will show on launch day; and we can also expect to see a new premium Galaxy Note 10 Plus. Additionally, Agarwal leaked that there should be ultra-fast wireless charging, along with wired, and a 12MP camera with f/1.5 aperture. One of the biggest reveals is that the standard Note 10 won’t have the QHD display, and instead will feature a Full HD+ resolution. This is actually a rather major move for Samsung since it has featured a QHD resolution screen for every Note device since 2014. The last device that came with a Full HD display goes all the way back to 2013 with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. As expected, water resistance technology is still improving with each year, and there’s a claim that the new Note 10 devices will have an IP69 dust and water resistance rating. To put that into perspective, the previous Galaxy Note 9 had an IP68 rating. The first number ‘6’ indicates the dust resistance level. Both the Note 9 and Note 10 have the highest rating available for dust, which makes it completely dust-tight. The second number is probably more important than the dust resistance level. The number ‘9’ is the resistance to water, which would allow the Galaxy Note 10 to protect itself against a high amount of water pressure. The previous devices with the IP68 rating, which was commonly used, protected them against complete submersion in water, but only at a specific depth and duration. We would like to point out that these leaks are not 100% confirmed. These leaks are just an indicator of what we can expect to see at the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 launch date on August 7th. These are not the only leaks to have surfaced leading up to this anticipated launch date. Another Galaxy Note 10 leak claims to potentially have a new color option. WinFuture published a rendered photo of the new device with a pinkish hue, and it is believed that the shade will come to the standard device as well as the Note 10 Plus. This could potentially add a sleek additional color choice to its range of colors, which will include blue and green variations. It’s important to note that consumers may not get the option to choose between all of the Galaxy Note 10 colors. In the past, Samsung has made color options exclusive to specific regions or countries. With just one more day until the big launch date, there’s not much time left before the true surprises are revealed to the public. As for now, all we can do is speculate off of what we have been presented online with all of these possible leaks.
